For easy identification of the driver, co-driver or operator, we install a contactless smart card/tag reader in vehicles. The reader can read data using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology most often operating at a 125 kHz carrier frequency. Identification can be done via the same card or tag as the employee already uses, eg for identification in the company's attendance system. It is possible to monitor the usage of the working time fund, as well as distinction on which particular vehicles the user has logged in and how long he has worked there.

  • start the vehicle with the ignition switched on
  • put the identification tag at a distance of at least 5cm from the reader
  • you can hear a short tone and the LED turns green
  • logging is possible even during the already commenced ride
Note: There is no need to repeat the login for each ride. When the driver is logged in, it is not possible to log with another tag.

Logout

  • the vehicle is switched off (ignition off)
  • put the identification tag at a distance of at least 5cm from the reader
  • you can hear a long tone and the LED starts flashing briefly in red for 20sec
Note: If the driver does not log off, his work performance can only be interrupted by a service (red) tag.

LED

  • blinks red at 20sec interval - vehicle is parked, driver logged out
  • continuous red - vehicle in operation, driver logged out
  • continuous green - vehicle in operation, driver logged in
  • blinks green - vehicle parked, driver logged in

Tone sounds

  • short tone - successful login
  • long tone - successful logout
  • 3x short and 3x long tone - alert for a not logged in driver
  • 2x short tone - vehicle in operation, driver logged in, other driver can not be logged
